KWS family seeks a rental home with 2-3 bedrooms and a yard, ideally on a not-too-busy street. Single family home preferred, but other arrangements (townhouse, etc.) will be considered. In-home laundry is important. Some kind of (dry) storage would be nice. We have one 9-year-old daughter and small, house-trained family dog who has been in our family for almost 12 years, and has never done damage to a rental property. We come with excellent references from both our current and previous Landlords. We'd prefer to stay in the Phoenixville area, but would consider the Western Main Line as well.  Our current rent is $1200/mth and we are looking to stay within this range. Landlord/Owner is moving into the house we currently rent in 60 days, so availability by Jan 1st, at the latest, is imperative. Please contact Lauren at 610-675-5688 or by email at  with any leads.

Local writer, KWS Parent and Phoenixville resident Robb Cadigan is the author of Phoenixville Rising, a new novel set in Phoenixville's past and present.  Billed as a tale of rebirth and redemption in small-town America, Phoenixville Rising weaves a haunting tale of life during and after the boom of the steel-mill industry.

New York Times bestselling author William Lashner (the barkeep) says, “Phoenixville Rising is a beautifully written love letter to the American industrial town.  In a novel spanning centuries, and centering on three hard-luck kids, Sketch and Tara and the unforgettable Boo -- clear-eyed and reckless and insanely-loyal Boo -- Robb Cadigan gives us a timeless story of the enduring legacies of love and friendship.  Noir and romantic and richly emotional, Phoenixville Rising is superb.”

Esther Martin, Carol DeMont and Christopher DeMont are searching for a live-in person for their father.  Charles DeMont lives a block from Kimberton Waldorf School in a lovely home on Seven Stars Road. He currently has daytime companions to assist with his needs due to dementia, but is now in need of someone to be in the home during evening and early morning hours to reassure him that all is in order. This helper would need to be an adult without children and the hours would be roughly 5:30-6pm - 8am. His children are willing to entertain a variety of possibilities in regard to payment. This could be free "room" in exchange for the evening hours spent with Mr. DeMont or a paid position with additional hours of care for Mr.DeMont or some other arrangement that is agreed upon. Of course, they are looking for someone with good references and lifestyle and temperament for the position.

Those interested please call: Christopher at 610-733-8066. Your good thought and help with this will be greatly appreciated!
