Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program

Learn how to benefit your business and many children of lower income families who can gain opportunities through an amazing education at Kimberton Waldorf School!


Starting this year, a business can claim up to $750,000 through the EIO and SO programs and $200,000 through the Pre-K program. Kimberton Waldorf School qualifies to receive your tax credits as a registered Scholarship Organization (SO) and a registered Pre-K program!

All application submissions will be accepted online and require that each business fill out a ONE TIME registration on the single application page in order to create a user name and password. This can be done as soon as today.

Businesses will be able to begin the application process, however the submit button will be inactive until the business submission deadline. First time applicants and applicants for one-year cycles submit applications on July 1, 2013.  Two-year cycle applicants submit applications on May 15, 2013. This due date applies if you are in your renewal year AND if you are starting a new two-year cycle.

IMPORTANT:  After hitting the submit button on the due date, please print out the signature page and immediately mail it to DCED at the address listed below. Signature pages must be received by DCED within 15 days of submitting your application.

When you receive your approval letter for DCED please write your check to KWS and note on the check PA EITC program (SO or Pre-K.) You have 60 days following receipt of the state’s approval letter to write this check. 

After receiving your check KWS will send you the official acknowledgement and thank you letter.  You then send DCED a copy of the KWS letter so that they have confirmation that you used your tax credits properly.  You have 90 days following receipt of the approval letter to send a copy of the acknowledgement letter.
